Synopsis

The follow-up to the action hit "Batman Begins," "The Dark Knight" reunites director Christopher Nolan and star Christian Bale, who once again embodies the man behind the mask. With the help of Lieutenant Jim Gordon (Gary Oldman) and District Attorney Harvey Dent (Aaron Eckhart), Batman has been making headway against local ime...until a rising iminal mastermind known as The Joker (Heath Ledger) unleashes a fresh reign of chaos aoss Gotham City.
