That '70s Show star Topher Grace has joined the cast of the second Spider-Man sequel, and he's set to show off his darker side as one of the film's two villains.

Grace joins Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst and James Franco, all of whom starred in the first two films. Sideways star Thomas Haden Church has also joined the cast.

This week, Grace and Ashton Kutcher made their onscreen exit from That '70s Show, after seven years on the comedy.

Spider-Man 3, directed by Sam Raimi, is scheduled for release in two years' time. The Spider-Man film franchise has so far grossed more than $1.5 billion worldwide.
