This year, there are two films about the teen daughters of U.S. Presidents. Mandy Moore is out of the gate first with Chasing Liberty. Katie Holmes will follow with First Daughter. Mandy may have the best deal. She got a wild European vacation out of it while Katie's character is stuck at college.

U.S. President Foster (Mark Harmon) has an 18-year-old daughter. Anna Foster (Mandy Moore) is fed up with secret service agents tagging along with her and ruining her dates. Seems a guy just isn't interested in stealing a kiss when a huge man-in-black with hidden pistol is lurking over his shoulder. Anna wants liberty!!

Anna goes along on a European state visit and is promised by dad, a guard-free evening out. Of course, dad just can't let that happen and warring agents Morales (Annabella Sciorra) and Weiss (Jeremy Piven) go undercover at a disco to watch her. Anna has had it and runs...right into the arms of passing photographer Ben Calder ( Matthew Goode).

The two are off on his Vespa on a wild escape that takes them to Venice, Prague and Berlin and the countryside in-between. They get on the wrong train, get their belongings stolen, have to sleep in the same hotel room... you get the drift. Of course, before daddy's army of agents close in, and after an upsetting secret is revealed, Ben and Anna fall in love and, despite all the "I hate you" banter, so do Morales and Weiss!
