You've probably seen her opposite Eminem in 8 Mile or with ex-boyfriend Ashton Kutcher in Just Married or, you may have seen or rented Brittany Murphy's first film Clueless which firmly launched "valley-girl speak" into teen culture. She played a frightened girl in the thriller Don't Say a Word and even adds to our enjoyment of animation as the voices of both Luann and Joseph in the wacky t.v. comedy series "King of the Hill". Now, she's a reluctant nanny to a very precocious little girl played by Dakota Fanning in Uptown Girls. The two actresses are great pals.

The first thing you might notice about Brittany are her enormous brown eyes! Those peepers are huge! Then there's the fact that she's tiny...super petite. When we sat down for a "spill all", the actress looked totally business-like in a little black suit with white flower in her lapel. Brittany's singing voice is excellent and she has long wanted to play 1960's rock legend Janis Joplin. She feels that the spirit of the late singer guides the project.
