Lindsay Lohan's father has met his match in the boxing ring - his charity challenger will be announced at a New York City press conference on Tuesday.

One unnamed man has paid "big bucks" to try to knock out Michael Lohan in an upcoming boxing match after the actress' dad offered himself up as a contender for the annual three-round Fight For Charity.

The big fight will take place at the Hilton Long Island in Melville next month.

Lohan originally challenged Britney Spears' former husband Kevin Federline to join him in the ring, but organisers insist the famous dad's opponent won't be Federline.
