Actress Lindsay Lohan has found another way to poke fun at Republican vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin - she plans to dress up as the politician for Halloween.

Lohan will take inspiration from John McCain's controversial running mate for her fancy dress costume - which she will sport for a Trick or Treat party on October 31.

The star will wear Palin's trademark fitted red suit and trademark glasses for the fun annual holiday, according to the New York Daily News.

The actress has previously slammed the Alaskan Governor on her MySpace.com blog for her strict views on gay rights, branding Palin a "narrow- minded, media-obsessed homophobe".

Lohan's girlfriend Samantha Ronson will reportedly join the Mean Girls star in costume - dressing up as Palin's husband, Todd.
