Disney star Demi Lovato has laughed off rumours of a feud with teen superstar Miley Cyrus, insisting she's just happy the Hannah Montana star knows who she is.

Cyrus sent gossips into a spin this summer when she poked fun at Lovato and her pal Selena Gomez in an online video.

The mocking montage led many to speculate that Cyrus' actions were prompted by reports her ex-boyfriend Nick Jonas is now dating Gomez - claims the pair has denied.

Cyrus has since apologised for her actions - and Lovato insists there are no hard feelings between the two stars.

In fact, Lovato has revealed Cyrus has even given her tips on how to deal with life in the spotlight.

She tells Entertainment Weekly, "I really don't know Miley that well. We didn't take offense or think it was a negative or a positive. It was just like, Ok, cool, Hannah Montana knows who I am!'

"She gave me advice on publicity and making it big, and she was like, 'I hope you're very successful'.''
