Adam 'DJ Am' Goldstein "looks just fine" despite suffering severe burns from a plane crash last month, according to his pal Nicky Hilton.

Goldstein and his friend Travis Barker were passengers on board the Learjet which crashed in South Carolina on 19 September, leaving four others dead.

The DJ was briefly hospitalised with second and third degree burns in Georgia, but is now back home in Los Angeles.

His burns and neck injuries have been bandaged up - but Hilton, who visited Goldstein on Tuesday, insists he is recovering well.

The fashion designer tells Usmagazine.com, "I think considering the circumstances, he is doing really well. He looks just fine.

"I think he has so many friends and family that have kept him going through this. It is just a horrible, horrible situation. He has so many people that love him. There is a lot of love. Tons of love."

Nicky's sister Paris has also voiced her support for Goldstein - and she is sure the DJ's survival was a result of divine intervention.

Calling into Ryan Seacrest's Kiis Fm show on Thursday morning, Hilton said, "With all the love and support coming in, it really means a lot. He's such a good person. I feel like God really did save him."
