Injured DJ Adam Goldstein stunned mourners at pal Chris Baker's memorial service on Monday by ignoring doctors orders and showing up to pay his respects.

Goldstein, aka DJ Am, was a passenger on board the Learjet which crashed in South Carolina on 19 September, killing Baker and three others. The DJ was briefly hospitalised with severe burns in Georgia but chose to check out and head back home to California last week.

With his burn and neck injuries covered by bandages, DJ Am attended the service in Los Angeles.

Baker was Goldstein's rocker pal Travis Barker's assistant. The drummer was unable to attend the service because he's driving back from South Carolina to L.A. after spending a week in hospital following the plane crash.
