Teen sensation Miley Cyrus denies her hit song 7 Things was written about her ex-boyfriend Nick Jonas.

The Hannah Montana star split with the Jonas Brothers singer last year, but insists there are no ill feelings between them.

She says, "A lot of people think 7 Things is about Nick and that's fine. But mostly that song is about who they want it to be."

"Nick is someone that was really important in my life, but I don't hate him. It's a good song and it's fun."

In the song, Cyrus sings, "Your friends, they're jerks, and when you act like them, just know it hurts."

But Jonas knows the song is not about him. He says, "I think it's funny. I'm not insecure and my friends are cool, so it can't be about me."
