Jessica Alba was desperate to lose her baby weight after giving birth last month, insisting she "never felt less sexy" than when she was pregnant.

The actress insists she loved the experience of carrying daughter Honor Marie - but was relieved when she gave birth and could get active again.

Alba tells the U.K.'s Cosmopolitan magazine, "I wouldn't have changed it for the world... but I wanted to get rid of all the weight."

And the new mum admits that she's shocked to find herself settling down with a husband, Cash Warren, and a child - because she was convinced her bad taste in men would leave her sad and single.

The 27 year old explains, "I never thought I'd find a man before 30, let alone marry him and have his baby. I always used to meet the wrong guys - the ones who wanted to hang out for a week and see how far they could get."

"If you didn't have sex in the first few days, you were either frigid or a lesbian. So I held out - and, boy, am I glad I did!"
