Hollywood actor Orlando Bloom has proved he is serious about new girlfriend Miranda Kerr after agreeing to meet her parents.

The Pirates of the Caribbean star and his model girlfriend made their first public appearance together at a race event in her native Sydney, Australia on Saturday.

During his trip to Australia, Bloom met the Victoria's Secret model's parents for the first time during lunch at Catalina's in Sydney's Rose Bay.
