Story for this popular film goes: High school Junior Juno MacGuff (Oscar nominee Ellen Page), is a witty, sarcastic teen living in Minnesota who discovers she's pregnant from a one night hook up with less than macho classmate Paulie Bleeker (Michael Cera of Superbad). At first Juno considers an abortion but can't really go through with it. She and BFF Leah (Olivia Thrilby) talk it over and Juno decides to find some cool adoptive parents. She tells stepmom (Allison Janney) and dad (J.K. Simmons) who are shocked but supportive and the mom-to-be is off to meet Vanessa (Jennifer Garner) and Mark (Jason Bateman) an upper class couple who seem ideal. But, they've got their own big problems. Juno becomes attracted to frustrated musician hubby Mark and what's up with Vanessa anyway? Meanwhile, the preggers teen gets closer to her baby's dad.

We received a single disc widescreen screener for this review. The disc is compressed and we aren't sure if the final product will have any visual "noise" or artifacts. Looks okay. Dolby Digital 5.1 sound is fine for this dialogue-driven film. The cool, indie-rock soundtrack sounds okay but certainly doesn't take a ton of advantage of your surround speakers.
