Kirsten Dunst has reportedly found love in New York, with actor Ryan Gosling - just weeks after swapping Los Angeles for the Big Apple.

Last month, the actress bought a $3 million penthouse apartment on the city's west side - which U.s. reports claim is her attempt at a fresh start, following a six-week stint in a Utah rehab facility.

And gossips claim she has already found a new partner to spend time with in Manhattan - in the form of the Half Nelson star.

The pair were spotted drinking and eating all Saturday afternoon and evening at Lower East Side hotspot Freemans.

A source tells the New York Post, "They were definitely acting like they were on a date. They lingered there for hours and were both dressed kind of shabby."

Dunst last dated British rocker Johnny Borrell, and Gosling has been single since his split from Rachel McAdams last year.
