High School Musical star Ashley Tisdale has blasted medics who fuelled tabloid speculation she had undergone a second nose job, calling them "irresponsible".

The actress/singer had surgery to correct a deviated septum and smooth out her nose late last year and she's appalled by new U.s. reports that suggest she's gone under the knife again.

Tisdale is angry that named plastic surgeons are commenting on the nose job she hasn't had.

She says, "People are saying I had another nose job and I did not. That's ridiculous."

"They (tabloids) have doctors talk about what they think I did with my surgery, but they did not examine me. They don't know what I have inside my nose."

Tisdale's representative Scott Appel tells People.com, "It's very irresponsible for a medical professional to comment on someone whom they have not examined."

The actress knows exactly how the new nose job stories got started: "I was away in New Zealand, filming a movie, and so people think I went away to have more work done."

Tisdale has also blasted reports she's had a breast augmentation, adding, "It's ridiculous. I'm not for plastic surgery. I'm not going to get another surgery. I can promise you that."
