Looking like a combo of young Tom Cruise and our fave Superman Christopher Reeve hasn't hurt the career of hunky former model Sean Faris. The actor admits that, as a kid, he pretended to be Tom's son and was pulling it off, until his sister busted him. Sean played a hunky high-schooler in Sleepover and TV's "Life As We Know It". He was the oldest son in the comedy film Yours, Mine and Ours and now, in Never Back Down, Sean portrays a troubled teen from Iowa trying to fit into the Florida beach scene where the teen locals get off on Fight Club-style competitions involving Mixed Martial Arts (MMA). It's fight or face a 'beatdown" for the new kid in town.

Although he was a high school jock with soccer, basketball, baseball and swimming on his resume, Sean wasn't a martial arts expert and had to train relentlessly and pack on pounds of muscle for his role. He was still looking buff for our interview in Beverly Hills where he looked casual cute in gray sweater and jeans. Unlike his longer locks in the film, Sean's hair is very, very short... self chopped, according to the actor, out of frustration with L.A. traffic....
