Ever fight with your sister over a guy? Ever try to sabotage her relationship so you can win him? Ever had your parents push you into dating someone the family approves of? Then, you can relate to the drama of The Other Boleyn Girl.

Back in the times of the Tudor family in Britain, two sexy sisters Anne (Natalie Portman) and Mary (Scarlett Johansson) couldn't be more different. Younger Mary Boleyn is proper, reserved and recently married. Anne is independent and brash. When their noble dad and his brother decide to advance the family fortunes by interesting young King Henry VIII (hot Eric Bana) in one of his girls as mistress, nothing but disaster results.

Mary ditches her hubby for the king's bed and falls for him, bearing a son but, when saucy Anne returns from the French court with her flirt on bigtime, Henry's attentions quickly rack focus to the sultry, slightly older sister. He dumps Mary and Anne holds out for marriage making Henry divorce his queen and renounce the Catholic Church to marry her and make her queen. When Anne can't produce a son and heir for him, however, his interest wanes and she is eventually doomed to the chopping block although she has given birth to the greatest future queen England will ever have.. the first Elizabeth.
