Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie has denied reports she is expecting a baby with fiance Josh Duhamel.

Recent reports claimed the My Humps star was planning to bring forward her wedding to the actor after learning she was pregnant.

It was claimed the 32-year-old - real name Stacy Ferguson - was overheard revealing her happy news to friends at a Grammy Awards afterparty in Los Angeles on Sunday night. But both her mother and representative have vehemently dismissed the rumours.

Responding to the baby claims on Ryan Seacrest's radio show on Tuesday, mom Terri says, "Nope, not at all. Did you see her at the Grammys? (She's) skinny, skinny, skinny."

"We're not moving up the wedding. (They) haven't met with a wedding planner yet."

And Terri is convinced the rumors were fabricated because cynics cannot fathom the idea of true love: "I think people can't believe people do get married just because they love each other, not because they are pregnant."

Meanwhile Fergie's spokesperson, Hillary Siskind, adds the pregnancy news is "not true".
