No Country For Old Men And Juno Win Twice At Satellite Awards

No Country For Old Men and Juno triumphed at The Satellite Awards on Sunday night, taking home two gongs each.

Ethan and Joel Coen's Western thriller, No Country For Old Men, was awarded Best Director and Best Drama, while Juno was hailed as Best Comedy. The movie's star, Ellen Page, was also named Best Actress in a Comedy or Musical for her role in the Jason Reitman-directed film.

The Best Actor in a Drama prize went to Viggo Mortensen for his part in Eastern Promises, and Marion Cotillard won the female equivalent for her passionate depiction of French chanteuse, Edith Piaf in La Vie en Rose.

Other winners included Ang Lee's Lust, Caution (Best Foreign Film), Ratatouille (Best Animation), and Michael Moore's Sicko (Best Documentary).

In the television categories, Dexter took home Best Drama, while its star, Michael C. Hall won Best Actor in a Drama. Pushing Daisies was awarded the gong for Best Comedy/Musical Series, and the Colbert Report's Stephen Colbert and Ugly Betty's America Ferrera were named Best Actor and Actress, respectively, in a Comedy/Musical Series.
