Funny actor/stand-up comic Jerry Seinfeld came into our living rooms for years in the TV hit "Seinfeld". He's a dad and author of the popular children's book "Halloween". You can catch Jerry's stand-up act in Vegas but now he's taken on a whole new genre in a big way. He's writer, actor and a producer of the animated feature Bee Movie from the folks at Dreamworks.
The buzz is, Jerry was having dinner with pal Steven Spielberg and, as a joke, talked about making a B movie only really about bees. The movie mogul took him seriously and then Jerry was talked into creating characters, a story and even starring in the picture as Barry B. Benson, a teen bee just graduated from high school who leaves the hive on an adventure before he has to choose a career. He's a young bee with a mission when he discovers that humans are actually stealing and selling honey! He'll just have to sue the whole human race.
Jerry has gone head first into promoting the movie, even appearing in a bee costume and "flying" on wires from tall buildings. We talked with the funnyman near UCLA in Westwood, Ca. recently where he was in his human guise, wearing dapper suit and tie. Tune in for all things "Bee".
TeenHollywood: You have been appearing dressed as a bee to promote this movie. Was that all your idea?
