Spears Booked On Two Hit-and-Run Charges

Britney Spears has been booked for her hit-and-run parking lot accident in August, after turning herself in to Los Angeles police on Monday night.
The singer was caught on camera scraping Kim Robard-Rifkin's vehicle with her Mercedes-Benz while attempting to park in Van Nuys, California on 6 August.
The troubled star, 25, was booked on two misdemeanor charges of hit and run and driving without a valid licence.
She was then fingerprinted and photographed before being released an hour later without bail.
Los Angeles Police Department officer Mike Lopez says, "At around 9:25 this evening, Ms. Spears turned herself in to the Van Nuys Jail for booking. This was by court order, which is common for a misdemeanor charge."
"She was fine, cooperative. She did her business and came out."
The Lapd has refused to release the booking photo because it is their policy not to do so.
Spears is due in court to face the charges on October 25th.
