Ludacris Still Angry With Pepsi
May 4, 2007 - World Entertainment News Network
Rapper Ludacris is furious he was ditched by soft drinks giants Pepsi for being too controversial, describing them as hypocrites for hiring Ozzy Osbourne as his replacement.
The hip-hopper - real name Chris Bridges - was axed by Pepsi in 2005 after right wing politic commentator Bill O'Reilly complained he was "vulgar" and attacked Pepsi as "immoral" for using him in their ads.
And he's still bitter. He tells the New York Daily News, "(I was fired) just for what I was saying on records. (And replaced by) a man who bit the head off an animal onstage and who has an MTV show where you have to bleep out every other word. Life is unfair."
