Hollywood beauty Mandy Moore considers herself to be a "mediocre" singer and actress.

When the Candy star was asked if she thought she was better at singing or acting, she admitted she wasn't too confident in her skills.

Moore says, "I'm mediocre at both. I'm not trying to come across as self-deprecating. I'm just being honest."

Moore was launched as a pop star in the late 1990s, at the same time as blonde lookalikes Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera and Jessica Simpson.

She explains, "I'm sure I was viewed as the young, untalented one.

"Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera had some great pop music. And then there was Jessica Simpson. And then there was me. And that's fine."
