You know the type; curvy figure, red, red lips and blonde, blonde hair. No, we're not talking about the latest incarnation of Christina Aguilera. In the film Noir mystery The Black Dahlia, Scarlett Johansson plays Kay, a hot woman with a questionable and scary past who is at the apex of a love triangle with her own love Josh Hartnett and hot Aaron Eckhart.

Scarlett is becoming our generation's chameleon actress; she can be anybody; play comedy (Scoop), action (The Island) and hard drama (Lost in Translation) with equal skill and she's only 21! You hear that "old soul" stuff about the actress but I once personally witnessed her in a New York hotel lobby singing the Oscar Mayer wiener song like an 8-year-old so she's managed to hold on to youth while playing older women of the world.

For our "Dahlia" interview in downtown L.A.'s classic Biltmore Hotel, a headquarters for 1940's action both savory and un, Scarlett was the total opposite of her Kay character in pale lip gloss with her long streaked brown/blonde hair up on top and down in the back, little gold stud earrings and a tiny gold heart locket. She looked like a college coed on a date in very short black skirt, and a chiffon, brown and black patterned blouse over a black tank. Copper wedge heels finished off her look.
