Maid In Manhattan star Jennifer Lopez is still considering a role in the upcoming big screen version of Dallas and insists nothing has been confirmed, despite reports to the contrary.

Media reports claimed the star had been cast as Sue Ellen Ewing in the project based on the hit US TV show.

She explains, "I talked to John Travolta (who has been cast as JR Ewing) and he said, 'Are you going to do it?' and it said, 'I think so.' But nothing's set in stone."

Lopez claims if she did accept the part, she'd have no problem slipping into the role adding, "Sue Ellen was a Texas beauty queen, so I think I can kind of fit into that."
