She's probably one of your fave young actresses. You might have grown up with Amanda watching her "Amanda" comedy series or might catch her regularly on her hit TV series "What I Like About You". Amanda's film What a Girl Wants, helped us live a fairy tale dream and she is noted for her pert, cute, girlie looks and great comedy timing. Well, toss all that girlie hype in the trash because now, Amanda hits screens as a guy!

In her new comedy film She's the Man, based on Shakespeare's play "Twelfth Night", Amanda stars as Viola and also as her brother Sebastian in a dual role that let the star grow as a person and imitate one of her favorite films, Tootsie, in reverse. For our interview, Amanda looked very far from guy-like in a very short black skirt, form-fitting white t-shirt, gold heart locket and...at the end of some very long legs.. some kick butt, really high, dainty black stiletto heels!

The actress let us know that, although her character Viola is an ace girl soccer player, Amanda had to learn the sport from scratch and learn how to look like a boy while playing it! There were a few injuries involved but, all in all, she had a blast guy watching for research and shooting She's the Man.

TeenHollywood: What did you learn about guys from playing one?

Amanda: I think that more than anything I learned that guys are just like girls and everyone is kind of the same. We're all in the same boat.
