This is hottie Jake Gyllenhaal's year! After playing a stock role in the big sci-fi thriller The Day After Tomorrow last year, Jake was ready to again show that he has more range as an actor as his performances in The Good Girl (2002) and cult hit Donnie Darko (2001) attest. This year, the popular star has shown serious acting chops playing a variety of roles from a bored G.I. in Jarhead to a tortured cowboy in the upcoming Brokeback Mountain.
