There is a new teen-aimed show that just had its debut on Discovery Kids and NBC. "Flight 29 Down" will air weekly during the day on NBC on Saturdays (check your listings) and also at night Mondays and Fridays on the Discovery Kids Channel. Here's the haps: A bunch of very different schoolmates, bound for a Micronesian camping vacation, crash on an isolated Pacific island but comparisons to TV's huge hit "Lost", are unwarranted. This isn't "Lost light" but a more down-to-earth portrayal of survival and teamwork with laughs, drama and a little romance. We're talking 17 and 18-year-olds (and one little brother).

We got to meet the attractive cast of the show at an Hawaiian-themed launch party in L.A. recently hosted by Lauren Storm and Corbin Bleu, two of the young stars of the show. Hang out like a fly on the wall as we chat with the cast and their various famous friends attending the party. We first cornered beautiful redhead Hallee Hirsh who plays Daley, the bossy, take-charge survivor who looked very golden goddessy in gold and brown print dress and gold heels.
