THE REEF is the perfect back-to-school treat for the whole family, which swims onto DVD October 9 from Genius Products LLC. and The Weinstein Company. THE REEF stars Freddie Prinze Jr. as the voice of the bold and adventurous Pi, a young guppy fish who is forced to move to the glossy Reef under the sea after his family is netted by a trawler in the Boston harbor. Upon his arrival, he falls for a pouting pink fish named Cordelia who has also been receiving unwanted affections from a bullying shark. Pi is charged with the task of winning over Cordelia's affections and ridding the Reef of the tormenting shark. The all-star ensemble cast also includes the vocal talents of Rob Schneider, Andy Dick, Evan Rachel Wood, Fran Drescher and Donal Logue.
