Soft, cuddly and completely irresistible, the baby seals have touched the hearts of celebrities across North America. In an effort to stop the seal hunt, the public along with the support of Hollywood are signing petitions that will be sent directly to the Prime Minister of Canada. Some celebrities include Nelly Furtado, Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo. In addition, sweatshirts that read “Club Sandwiches, Not Seals” have been designed to encourage support. Public service announcements have also been a popular method of taking action. Carmen Electra, Minnie Driver and Vanessa Minnillo are among those using their words to promote awareness.
