Chace Crawford Cleared of Drug Charge

A Texas judge has cleared Chace Crawford's criminal record following the actor's 2010 drug possession charge.

The Gossip Girl star was arrested in June, 2010, after police found a marijuana joint on his person during a body search, and a misdemeanour count of pot possession was filed against the actor.

He faced six months behind bars, but the actor was told if he stayed out of trouble for a year, the case would be dismissed.

The 26 year old has since carried out 80 hours of community service in Texas, working in a hospital and a church, and on Tuesday a judge cleared his record.
