Elle Fanning Traded Her Pacifier for a Designer Purse

Fashion-loving actress Elle Fanning gave up her pacifier when she was four years old after an aunt promised to reward her with a designer bag.

The 13 year old recently signed on as the face of fashion house Marc by Marc Jacobs, and Fanning insists her fascination with high-end couture started at a very young age.

The Super 8 star admits she gave up her teething toy as a child when a relative offered to buy her a pricey purse.

Fanning tells America's Vogue magazine, "I was four or five at the time, and we were at Disneyland, and my aunt said if I gave my pacifier to Mickey Mouse she would get me a tiny (Louis) Vuitton... I still have it."
