Twilight Rivals Lock Lips at MTV Movie Awards

Twilight co-stars Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner locked lips at the MTV Movie Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday night after the movie vampire refused to kiss his leading lady onstage.

Pattinson and Kristen Stewart won the Best Kiss award at the prizegiving and Stewart suggested they should finally kiss away from the Twilight set.

But, admitting he "didn't feel like" kissing her, Pattinson suggested there was someone else in the audience who would appreciate a kiss from him, dashing off to plant a smooch on his red-faced love rival in the film franchise, Lautner.

As the audience hooted its approval, Pattinson dashed back to the stage, grabbed his film and reported real-life love interest, Stewart, and announced, "I want to take you backstage" as she tried to fight him off.
