Kelly Osbourne's Dog Ill After Chewing Gum

Kelly Osbourne endured an overnight health emergency on Tuesday after her beloved pet dog Sid gobbed up half a packet of chewing gum.

The singer and reality TV star found out the hard way just how bad gum is for a pooch.

Taking to her Twitter.com account to recount the crisis early on Wednesday, Osbourne wrote, "Everyone keep gum away from your dogs Sid just 8 (ate) half a pack and almost died! Thank god I got him to the vet on time!"

The Papa Don't Preach singer had to call on a TV vet to save poor Sid's life.

She added, "Finally home with sid thank god! tonight made me realize just how much i really love my little boy thank you so much Tlc vet for saving him!

"Sat here watching Sid sleeping as i am to scared to fall asleep just in case he starts getting sick again! how do i love this dog so much?"

But the poorly pooch was still ill and Osbourne revealed she had to return to the vet: "Just had to take Sid back to the vet as he started throwing up again... I cant stop crying! My poor little man!"
