Miranda Cosgrove Planning College Future

Actress Miranda Cosgrove dreams about experiencing college life on both America's east and west coasts.

The iCarly star is keen to pursue her education on a higher level and is already eyeing schools in California and New York.

She tells Seventeen magazine, "My ultimate dream is to go to the University of Southern California for two years and then New York University for two years."

But the 17 year old admits she's unsure if she's ready to put her acting career on hold just yet to focus solely on her studies, although she's eager to move into her own place.

She says, "I'm still trying to figure out what I want to do... Right now, my biggest pressure is figuring out if I'm going to start college, what I'm going to major in, or if I'll stop acting for a while...

"I really want to move out and be more independent, but everyone has their own timing when she's ready to grow up."
