Sam Ronson's Fury Over Fake Gig

Samantha Ronson is waging war on imposters after her fans were fooled into buying tickets for a DJ set she knew nothing about.

Ronson was furious when she discovered a venue in New York City was advertising a show on Saturday with her name on the bill.

She took to her Twitter.com blog to tell followers she had nothing to do with the event - and accused organisers of "lying" to boost ticket sales.

Ronson wrote, "That's not true. I am not spinning there... Just wanna tell you Nyc folks - I am Not spinning tonight at griff or whatever it's called - don't buy tickets - if you did - get your $ back. (They are) lying!... Steer clear of imposters!"
