Rob Pattinson Confesses: 'I'm Hopeless at Courting'

Robert Pattinson is useless at courtship - because he's not as confident as the hunks he portrays on the big screen.

The Twilight star admits he's not the Casanova fans think he is - because he's awkward around the opposite sex.

He tells Parade.com, "When it comes to the opposite sex, I'm not as fully confident as the guy I play. I don't even remember the last time I asked someone out on a date.

"I'm much more self-conscious and not wanting to fail. So I tend to hold back."
