Rob Pattinson's Mom Upset by Heroin Overdose Reports

Twilight star Robert Pattinson has slammed a string of sick rumours which suggested he had suffered a heroin overdose - insisting the false reports upset his mother.

The actor admits it was one story that went too far - and left his mom very upset.

He says, "I had a heroin overdose in New York (according to the rumours); that was an exciting one for my mother. My mom calls me so much but I just didn't answer the phone.

"When I found out afterwards, one of the security guys from the film ran into my room, and I was like, 'What are you doing? You could have knocked.'"
