Heath's Dad is Overjoyed at Golden Globe Win

Heath Ledger's father is thrilled with the late star's Golden Globe win.

Despite rumours Kim Ledger would accept the prize on his tragic son's behalf, personal reasons meant Ledger Sr. watched the event from his home in Perth, Australia.

But he passed on his joy to People.com soon after The Dark Knight director Christopher Nolan collected the Best Supporting Actor award.

Ledger said, "We are overjoyed for him. It's wonderful."
