Zac Efron's Dad Thought He Stinks

Bogus tabloid stories about Zac Efron's personal hygiene problems landed the pin-up in trouble with his dad.

Earlier this year a source claimed Efron was unpopular on the set of High School Musical 3: Senior Year because he didn't shower after working out in the gym, leaving him sweaty and stinky.

The 21-year-old heartthrob insists the rumours aren't true, but he was still reprimanded over the phone by his father.

Efron tells Moviefone.com, "I assure you I showered this morning. Minutes before I got here. And I do it every day. Sometimes twice. So, that's kind of funny. But my dad was kind of razzing me for it."
