BREAKING NEWS: Travis Barker and DJ AM Critically Injured in Plane Crash

Hours after a performance to thousands of South Carolina college students, former Blink-182 drummer and celebrity DJ AM were critically injured in a plane crash in South Carolina, the Associated Press is reporting.

The Learjet they were traveling in took off around midnight when air traffic controllers reported seeing sparks.

The plane was unable to gain altitude and crashed through antennas and a fence at the end of the runway. Engulfed in flames, the aircraft came to rest near a five-lane highway.

Four others were killed, including the pilot, co-pilot, a security guard and a personal assistant to Barker.

Both Barker and DJ AM are in critical condition at a burn center in Atlanta, GA, about 75 miles southwest of the crash site.
