Wahlberg Regrets Making Film

Actor Mark Wahlberg has named The Truth About Charlie the worst film he has ever starred in.

The 36-year-old says he only signed up for the thriller, a remake of the 1963 classic Charade, because of the impressive credits of its director Jonathan Demme, the man behind box office smashes Philadelphia and The Silence of the Lambs.

He tells Maxim magazine, "It wasn't what I had hoped it would be. I made the decision based on the filmmaker, not on the screenplay or the role. I certainly don't do that any more. It was a learning experience."
