Rapper Kanye West has ditched the idea of multiple costume changes at the Mtv Video Music Awards next month - he plans to wear the same outfit and "stink" like a rock star instead.
West has five nominations and wants to dazzle the Las Vegas awards ceremony with just one, well-selected set of clothes.
He tells Mtv, "Whenever you see rock stars they just wear the same thing and it's all sweaty and then you see them the next day and they stink. That's the whole thing about being a rock star - you could wear the same outfit all week."
"So, I'm going to pick one extremely good outfit and just wear it the whole time. The (mtv) party is going to be too crazy, I won't have time to change."
