Troubled singer Britney Spears caused a traffic jam after she stopped by the roadside to change her son's diaper.

The Toxic star made an impromptu stop at a Malibu, California roadside on Sunday to change her eight-month-old son Jayden James' diaper - and paparazzi descended on the car causing road chaos.

It's not the first time Spears' parenting skills have been questioned - she almost dropped her eldest son Sean Preston on one occasion and was seen driving her car while he sat on her lap last year.
