Clarkson Album Release On Schedule

Latest: Kelly Clarkson is laughing off reports her new album has been scrapped by releasing it in July - on schedule.

A British tabloid claimed label bosses at Rca and Sony Bmg were far from impressed with the American Idol star's 'My December' album - and told the singer to get back in the studio and re-record tracks.

But its seems someone misinterpreted executives' delight with the new release - it will hit stores on 24 July, as scheduled.

The first single from the album, 'Never Again', debuted at number eight on the Billboard Hot 100 last week.
