Cruise And Holmes Miss Out On Dream Home

Latest: Hollywood couple Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes have failed to land a $20 million apartment in New York City's Dakota building, after it was sold to a mystery buyer.
The pair were rumored to be interested in the 12-room home in The Dakota block, opposite Central Park.
But current owner Juliana Curran Terian tells the New York Daily News, "The buyer wasn't an actor or anyone like that."
Former Beatle John Lennon was shot outside the Dakota Building, where he lived with wife Yoko Ono, in December 1980.
