Wahlberg Goes Head To Head With Tough Guys

Oscar-nominated actor Mark Wahlberg is preparing for his new role as boxing legend Mickey "irish" Ward by working with real fighters from his hometown Boston, Massachusetts.

Wahlberg, who is set to play the junior welterweight in the upcoming film The Fighter, has already been training for five months in order to get in shape for the tough-guy role.

"I'm working with guys from Boston who are real tough nosed guys. Hopefully we'll shoot here (in London) and play out the Shea Neary fight where Mickey won the title."
