Butler: 'injuries Make 300 Look Good'

Scottish actor Gerard Butler enjoyed getting injured during the filming of war epic 300, because it made the film "look really good".

The movie - based on Frank Miller's graphic novel - sees Butler lead a heroic band of ancient Spartans.

He says, "It was so raw and hyped and mistakes would happen every time."

"To be honest, that's actually what makes it what it is. Things that went wrong, you'd go, 'Oh how cool does that look that I hit him in the nether regions instead of the stomach?'"

"Honestly when you pick up an injury, that's the stuff that looks really good."
