Singer/actress Hilary Duff visited a London fire station yesterday to thank staff for raising $25,350 for their New York counterparts affected by the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
The 19-year-old stopped at Soho Fire Station to personally show her appreciation for the firefighters' fundraising efforts.
A source says, "She was there to thank the boys for their efforts in raising $25,350 for a fire station in New York they are twinned with, Ladder 20 in the SoHo area of the Big Apple."
A total of 343 New York City firefighters died as they attempted to rescue victims of the 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center.
