Stefani Named Baby Six Years Before Birth

Rock couple Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale were so fixed on naming their firstborn child Kingston, they bought their tot a hat with his name on - six years before he was born.

The No Doubt singer came up with the name while she was recording tracks for her group No Doubt's last album Rock Steady in Kingston, Jamaica - and even bought a baby hat with the town's name on it.

She says, "For, like, six years we had this thing and then when I got pregnant, we didn't find out if I was having a boy or a girl, and it ended up being a boy and we named him Kingston.

"He wore the little hat home from the hospital."
